My PELONIS furnace has degree settings and I have set it to 55 degrees Fahrenheit but the temperature in the room where it is located is hotter than that. Why?
Your PELONIS model can maintain heating comfort very well. However, it does not have control over other heating sources. If your room is too small, is exposed to a large amount of sunlight, or if other appliances are turned on which also give off heat, they may add to the heat produced by your heater and therefore cause your room to get warmer. Your PELONIS can only sense room temperature changes and adjust its own heat output. It cannot control the heat given off by other things.
