My parent(s) (or a third party) is making payments on my account. How will he/she continue making payments on my account if a statement isn received in the mail?
Your parent(s) or a third party can quickly and easily make a payment on your account through Nelnetpay, Nelnet’s free, online payment system. An authorized payer can make payments, but they do not have access to any of your account information or messages. You only need to follow a couple of easy steps one time to set your parent(s) or a third party up as an authorized payer: 1. After you have logged in to Manage My Account, click “Make a Payment” under “Repayment Options.” 2. Select “Authorize payers” from the menu on the left to set up a user name and password for anyone you would like to be an authorized payer on your account. If you desire to provide paper copies of your Nelnet statements and correspondence to your parent(s) or a third party, you may simply print the statements from your “My Secure Messages” inbox.
