A. Hot Plugging the cable causes the Palm Desktop HotSync ports to lose the proper configuration. To reconfigure the synchronization port: 1. Click the HotSync Manager icon in the system tray. 2. Click Local USB setting. 3. Press the SYNC button on the cable.
