CIS only supports CISCO provided clients for your VPN connections in our current configuration. If you have problems with using a different VPN client, the Help Desk will suggest you switch to a CISCO client. Non-CISCO clients are problematic in that each requires a slightly different configuration than the one employed by the Brown Network. Although there are numerous ways in which to configure a VPN, we have chosen the technologies that we believe are the most user-friendly and secure.
