My new employee is only starting in a month; can I activate her accounts (portal, e-mail, etc.) in advance?
Generally speaking, no. Accounts can only be set up for active employees, and if HR’s system shows that the new employee’s start date is only in one month, then the new employee’s status will only turn to ‘active_employee’ in one month. If you wish to activate the accounts in advance, HR will have to create the employee’s ID and set his/her status to ‘active_employee’. If the employee does not have an ‘active_employee’ role, his/her accounts will not be able to be created.
