You need to make sure you remove the tear off tapes from the side and top of cartridges before installing. To rectify, simply remove cartridges, tear off tapes, refit and follow on-screen printer instructions to charge and complete installation. Then perform three print head cleans to get ink flowing and air out of lines. If streaky lines are still evident, go to our Test Patterns page here and then make two prints to clear the lines and get the ink flowing.Important Note: If streaky lines are still present, please remove the whole of the tape from the top of the cartridge as sometimes, a little bit of tape still continues to block the air vacuum line. Then repeat above steps and test. If this does not rectify the problem, then either ink tank is empty or the consumable print head needs replacing.
