Most directories provided on Novell Netware file servers(H:/I:/T: etc.) have a space quota placed on them to prevent these shared disks from being filled up. With files stored on netware volumes, deleted files aren’t immediately cleared until after 8 days so as to allow files that are accidentally deleted(a common occurence) to be salvaged. To purge deleted files in your personal directory, open up Windows Explorer and go to the U: drive and then the first letter of your last name. Then right click on the directory with your username and choose Purge All. If you deleted files in sub directories as well you will want to click on the purge subdirectories button. You can check the quota on a directory by navigating to the directory in Windows Explorer, right clicking the folder and choosing properties, clicking on the Netware Info tab at the top and noting the Space Restriction and Space Available values.
