My neighbours are at work all day and their dog barks all the time. Can anything be done?
Yes, if there is evidence that the noise level is unreasonable, the Council can take action. Its often best to try to speak to your neighbours first, they may not be aware that their dog is causing a nuisance. If you cant resolve the problem it will help any Council investigation if you keep a diary noting dates and times when the barking has disturbed you.
