My neighbor has KosherNet Filtered DSL, but I can get it. Why?
DSL is a distance-sensitive technology that works solely over copper phone lines. Currently, KosherNet Filtered DSL is only available to customers residing within 3 “wire-run” miles (up to 18,000 feet) from their KosherNet Central Office. In addition, some wires may be capable of handling DSL and others may not, even in the same area. We’re currently working to overcome the distance limitation so our DSL is more widely available. So, while you may not qualify for the service today, it is possible that you could be able to receive it in the near future as the technology improves. If DSL is not currently available, you can ask to have your name added to a call-back list. This means that as soon as DSL is available for you, a KosherNet representative will call and let you know.
