MPICH-VMI provides the following verbose options to mpirun that may be helpful: -v Verbose level 1 MPIRUN verbose & VMI startup -vv Verbose level 2 Warning messages -vvv Verbose level 3 Error messages -vvvv Verbose level 10: Excess Debug (Everything)
