My mentor says that since my Emphasis project is related to his research, I can just do my project under his IRB protocol, without submitting another application. How does that work?
There are two options: 1. Submit an amendment form adding you as key study personnel on your mentor’s study. Include in the amendment request any added procedures or changes to the approved application and any additional documents, measures, or study related materials. 2. Submit a new application referencing the association with your mentor’s approved study. The application should include how your mentor’s study will be utilized in your new study.
