My Mega Millions ticket and/or the numbers in the last Mega Millions drawing had the same number for the Mega Ball number as they drew for the Mega Millions numbershow is that possible?

The first five balls (the Mega Millions numbers) are drawn from a pool of balls numbered 1-56. The Mega Ball number is drawn from a separate group of balls numbered 1-46. Since there are two different pools of balls, you have the possibility that you may draw the same number for the Mega Ball number that you’ve drawn as one of the five Mega Millions numbers.
