The most obvious thing to look for is if you have your rinse-hold button pushed in. The rinse-hold button will hold the clothes in water and wait for you to depress the button before it rinses the clothes. This is supposed to help make sure that your clothes don’t get left in the machine whilst you’re out and get creased. These days, we have the start delay function for this.
