My list is in Excel spreadsheet, can I upload that directly into VerticalResponse?
If the list is in excel, you will need to save the file as a .CSV file in order for the VerticalResponse system to recognize the file. To save a file as a .CSV file, you would open the excel file, go to “save as” in the “file” menu. When the window pops up, in the “save as type” field, scroll through the drop down menu, to find “CSV (Comma Delimited)”, and click “save”. Make sure you are saving the file to a location where you can easily find it. Another window will then pop up that says something to the affect of “this file may contain features that are not compatible with .CSV … – just click “yes”. Once you have converted your data to this format, save it to a secure place (i.e. your desktop). You will then be ready to upload your list for mailing.
