My license has expired, but the status still shows as “Active.” Whats going on?
Your license is currently in the renewal grace period. The Division of Registrations allows you to renew you license for up to 60 days after the license expiration date. At the end of the grace period, your license will be placed in a lapsed or expired status and you will have to reinstate your license to restore it to an active status (for purposes of licensure status, the terms “lapsed” and “expired” have the same meaning).
