My keyboard doesnt connect to my computer or it doesnt work with the software?

Most Keyboards connect via USB, which will normally be detected and installed as soon as you plug in the keyboard. If not then make sure all the driver software is installed for the keyboard, restart the PC and connect your keyboard. Older keyboards have a MIDI connection, a small round connector with 5 pins. This means you need a MIDI to USB adapter. Install the software driver for the MIDI to USB adapter, restart your PC, connect the adapter between the musical keyboard and to the USB port on your computer, and turn your PC back on. Once this is done, the operating system will detect your keyboard. Now you need to ‘select’ the musical keyboard from within Children’s Music Journey. From the main menu, click the tools icon, and choose sound setup. Select your keyboard as the MIDI input, and select the most appropriate MIDI output. Test the output first using the test button, then test the input by pressing a key on the keyboard.
