My iPod shuffle warranty has expired. What are my service options?
Apple offers two service options for iPod shuffle that are no longer within warranty. If your iPod shuffle requires service only because the battery’s ability to hold an electrical charge has diminished, Apple will replace your iPod shuffle for a service fee, plus shipping. If your iPod shuffle requires service for any other issue, Apple will replace your iPod shuffle for a service fee plus shipping. All fees are in US dollars and are subject to local tax. Replacement iPod shuffles may be new, used or refurbished. Service that is not covered by Apple’s warranty or AppleCare Protection Plan for iPod shuffle is governed by Apple’s Repair Terms and Conditions.

If you own an iPod shuffle, and it requires service, Apple will replace your iPod shuffle for a service fee. Replacement iPod shuffles may be new, used or refurbished. Apple’s One-Year Limited Warranty excludes coverage for damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse or unauthorized service. Please review the warranty for further details. 9. If a replacement iPod shuffle is provided under warranty, the replacement will be warranted against defects for the remaining term of the warranty or 90 days after service, whichever provides longer coverage for you.
