A/ First, turn off your printer and remove the power cord. Secondly, remove any paper which may be stuck in the printer. Thirdly, using a soft clean dry cloth, (will need to be thrown away after use) sponge out the waste ink inside the printer as best you can. Next, remove the CISS system as per the removal / install instructions located in A/1 in this forum. Upon removal gently using a clean soft dry cloth, clean the ink cartridge, cartridge head and cartridge surroundings with mentholated spirits. Carefully clean inside the ink cartridge holder of spilled ink and proceed to re-install the CISS system as per previous instructions removal / install instructions mentioned previously.
