My housemate and I both use Message Center on our office phones. Whats the best way to access our individual mailboxes from home?
Each of you can access your mailbox from home by dialing 936-5000 and entering your 10-digit mailbox number (area code + 7-digit office number) and password, when prompted. Or, one person can set up and use the Direct Access feature, while the other uses an indirect access method. Direct Access (under Message Center Options on the web) enables you to designate up to three telephone numbers from which you can directly access your mailbox without having to enter your mailbox number or password. After setup, simply dial 936-5000 from one of the designated telephones and the system recognizes the number. However, an individual telephone number (such as your home telephone number) can be designated as Direct Access by only one user. The other user of the telephone will need to use an indirect method to access his/her mailbox.
