A. The owner or operator of a heating oil UST used to store heating oil for resale or for use in a manufacturing process has the option to elect to proceed in accordance with Leaking UST Program regulationsso long as an order for removal and, if necessary, site investigation and corrective action has not been issued by the OSFM. Submittal of a Heating Oil Underground Storage Tank Election form is required.
