My Haflinger has a double mane. Should I train it to one side only, or just keep it clean and combed?

Most Haflinger manes are double sided to some degree, and if not symmetrical, can be trained to the side with the most hair, but most owners just let it be wherever it lands. If you are showing, you may want to braid it to one side in order to show off the neck on the bare side. There are no rules one way or the other.
