ANy wild animal will attack a dog if it gets cornered – It would be really wise to take you dog to the vet – the wild animal could very well ave been rabid & you are exposing your whole family to the chance of the rabies virus. If your dog is current on its rabies vaccine they will give it a booster – this happens with any cat/dog that is bit by a wild animal if they have been vaccinated.
