An output cable may be poorly connected or defective– check for breaks and shorts; or, a chip or connection on the board may be loose or defective. A perfectly good card correctly connected with good cables can exhibit these symptoms in a IIgs with an overloaded power supply, even when the computer seems to be working okay otherwise.
