The QOF financial year does run from 1 st April to 31 st March. In a single QOF financial year, a practice should submit 12 monthly clinical submissions and for automated practices, these are scheduled to run on the first day of a month. For example, the submission of the April clinical data will be run on 1 st May. Consequently some GP clinical suppliers may refer to that monthly submission as the May monthly submission whereas on QMAS the submission will be described as the April submission.
