My girlfriends sister is getting married soon. How soon after her wedding can I propose to my girlfriend?
I had a similar situation with my family. My very close cousin (like my sister) got married in May and my husband proposed in July. That’s very sweet of you to wait a little bit after the wedding only because you don’t want to take away from your girlfriends sister’s wedding. Anytime after their wedding you could propose. Good Luck! ETA: I notice a lot of people are telling you to do it anytime or even before the wedding and then not tell anyone. Once your girlfriend gets that ring on her finger she’s going to want to show EVERYONE. It wouldn’t be fair for her to keep that secret when it’s something I’m sure she would want to share. Just think about it.
