My girlfriend wants me to go camping with her, but I hate the hot weather in the summer! Does any company sell a portable air conditioner for a tent?
What I did was take a big cooler with ice frozen in flat bags. I would swap them out under a light sheet in the tent during the night. It may sound stupid but it really cooled me off. I work out in the heat every day and am outside at least 12 hours a day. I don’t really want to sleep out in it either.
You gotta be kiddin’. If not, you’ve been spending too much time on the couch, dude. Living in the south, summers here are allways hot, but there are ways to stay comfortable in all but the hottest days. Set up your tent in a nice shaded area and orient it to take advantage of any natural breezes. Light weight clothing helps and if you getb too hot, take a dip and cool off. Eat lite during the hottest part of the day and stay well hydrated. The choice is yours, friend, get out and enjoy life, or stay inside and wait for stories from us that do!
