My GigMasters clients are asking me about the 5% booking fee. What is it for?
If you do not pay the 5% fee on behalf of your GigMasters clients, your clients are charged a 5% booking fee ($20 minimum) when they book you through GigMasters for an event. So for example, if they pay you $1,000 to perform, we charge them $50. This fee provides your clients with our premiere customer support services, the ability to pay their deposit to you through GigMasters (if you accept online deposits), and the ability for them to leave feedback for you after the event has taken place.
