Confirm the following: 1. No removable disk in My Computer 2. Unit is connected with AC Power. 3. Unit is in USB mode. 4. JVC disk is loaded in CD-ROM. With installation Disk: 1. Go START > RUN and type DEVMGMT.MSC in the open field 2. Double click on the Universal Serial Bus Controller(s) 3. Double click on the Digital Camera 4. Press the Re-install driver button 5. Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) then click NEXT 6. Select Dont Search. I will choose the driver to install then click NEXT 7. Press the Have Disk button 8. Message box Install from disk opens, press the browse button 9. Locate drive with JVC disk 10. Select JVCDSC.INF file then press OPEN then OK, and then NEXT 11. A hardware installation message box will appear saying the software hasnt passed Windows Logo testing PRESS CONTINUE ANYWAY 12. Press finish when wizard is complete. 13.
