There is no best style of Martial Arts. It depends on what you want to learn. If you are interested in competing in tournaments and point fighting then any style ending in Do is where you want to look. Most styles ending in Do (Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Karate Do) are designed for sport. If you want relaxation and have no desire in learning self defense then perhaps Qigong or Tai Chi Chuan would be for you. Our main goal is teaching you how to defend yourself. We practice Isshin-ryu which is a hard Okinawan style of Karate using natural stances to give the practitioner mobility and dexterity. Close-in techniques and low kicks for street practicality. Our ground fighting program focuses on doing damage on the ground and getting back to you feet.
