I’m not too sure about that in the technical sense but I had a friend who was overweight and she enrolled on an Equine National diploma at the college I used to work at. She didn’t stay long on the course though – not because she wasn’t capable but because of bullying. People in the horse world as I’m sure you know are very b****y and she was a target. I know this isn’t a one off. It happens all the time so your friend needs to be prepared for that and very tough.
