My FPS in Quake 3:Arena never changes, whats up?
Two things to look at: 1) You might have a cap of FPS in the game. Type cl_maxfps and see if you get a number back. If it’s at 60, set it higher and see if you get better FPS. 2) Turn off v-sync in your video cards control panel. The options should be there in the video card information in the Display properties.
