My Flickr Gallery does not run on my local machine. Why?
When running a Flickr gallery locally you may see an error popup: ‘Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation…’. Flickr galleries will only work when uploaded to a web server. This is due to a security restriction in the Flash Player. If you want to run the gallery locally, you can edit your Flash player security settings. To do this: • Click the ‘Settings…’ button on the warning popup. • In the ‘Flash Player Global Security Settings’ dialog box, select ‘Add location’ from the ‘Edit locations…’ drop down. • Click ‘Browse for folder’ and select the folder where your example gallery is located. • Click Confirm • Reload the webpage.
