FirstMerit Visa Gift Cards are issued to FirstMerit Customer, instead of your name. You should still sign your name on the receipt when making a purchase. Make sure you sign the back of your card so that retailers can validate your identity by comparing your signature on the receipt with the one on your FirstMerit Visa Gift Card.
