Firms which have varied their permissions during the year may be allocated to a different fee-block as a result. Also, there are three new fee blocks as a result of mortgage and general insurance regulation: Fee block A.2 for mortgage lenders and administrators, fee block A.18 for mortgage advisers and arrangers and fee block A.19 for general insurance intermediaries.
