The default demosaic setting in Premiere Pro is only a simple bilinear demosaic, and this was done for a fast interactive editing experience. To change to a higher-quality demosaic that is sharper and has much less color friging issues from false demosaic results, go to the “Playback Settings” in Premiere Pro, and under the “Global Preferences” tab, select the CF Advanced demosaic options.
