Vets and breeders say at least over a year and a half, same with the female. Wait til its her 2nd or 3rd heat cycle so shes old enough to provide the puppies with nutrition. I have a doberman myself and I’ve done a lot of research about breeding her and shes going to be in heat this month. If you would like to know anymore information you can email me.
