If you are represented by a bargaining agent, your collective agreement may specify terms and conditions surrounding your pay. If so, you may wish to contact them about assisting you. Should you wish to present a grievance on this issue, you will need their support. The grievance process must be completed in your department at all required levels before your bargaining agent refers the grievance to the PSLRB. If you are not represented by a bargaining agent, you may wish to speak with the pay advisor in Human Resources in your department. If you choose to present a grievance, you do not require a bargaining agent’s support, but such a grievance would not be referable to the PSLRB.
