My fasting Blood sugar is 114 and PPvalue is 92. Is it okay?
It is possible under the following cases; 1. You are a known diabetic and are on Medication / Insulin. If you have taken the same before the PP reading, this can happen. 2. It can be a glucometer related issue – Hypothetically, assuming your fasting is 92-95, Glucometers can report up to 20% variation and vice a versa for the PP sample. 3. IF tested in a laboratory, if the blood sample immediately after being drawn was not centrifuges and stored or tested within 20 minutes, it can report lower values.
