While special education and early intervention needs are only taken into consideration at OCONUS duty locations (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), you are still required to keep a current, active enrollment if your child is receiving these services. These needs must be documented on DD Form 2792-1, Exceptional Family Member Special Education/Early Intervention Summary. This form must be completed and signed by school personnel (if special education) or by Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) personnel.
