My /etc/fstab file has /dev/BOOT in it. Do I need to setup this line for my Apple bootstrap partition?
No. If you are not using a separate boot partition (/boot) then you do not need this line and can safely just delete it from /etc/fstab. The Apple bootstrap partition is not /boot and is not related in any way. In general, Apple PowerPC machines do not need a separate /boot partition, and the bootstrap partition should not be mounted or referred to in your fstab.
