My employer rang me to say that i am being made redundant do i still have to go in to work?
There is a certain discrepancy here, as if the position has gone, then there should be no need to show someone else how to do the job, the job being no longer in existence. It’s the job, not the person, which might be described as redundant. You need to take advice on your position.
