My email forwarding isn working. Whats wrong?
There are several possible reasons: 1. UW uses greylisting to help control spam, which is the default setting on all @alumni.uwaterloo.ca email addresses. Greylisting works by rejecting a new message to the alumni server, telling the sender’s server to try again in 5 minutes. However, the length of the delay depends upon the sender’s outgoing email server, and it can be longer than 5 minutes before you receive the message. 2. You cannot send email through the email forwarding system from the email address you have chosen to forward your email to.
