My email didn update when I launched Outlook. Whats going on?
When accessing Outlook, verify you are connected to the Exchange server by viewing status bar in lower right corner of the window. Messages will not update unless the session status is “Connected”. If the status is “Disconnected”, your session is “Working Offline” from the Exchange Server. To return to normal processing, click the arrow to the right of “Disconnected”; the “Working Offline” option will be checked. Click “Working Offline” to de-select it. The status should automatically change to “Connected” but if it doesn’t, click the Send/Receive button on the toolbar; note that the status should indicate the folders are being updated.
