My electronic supercoil #140008 makes a “buzzing” noise. Is there something wrong with it?

No. It is normal for the #140008 coil and also the 300+ box (#49320) to make this noise. The coil is not in oil, and transmits the noise through the housing. If the noise is unacceptable, either mount the unit in a different location or use a #49012 vibration mount kit.
