You may qualify for Pell Grant. All the EFC means is expected family contribution. It does not mean you have to pay 2000 dollars for your tuition. Please don’t believe that. Each school awards based on needs. The best thing to do is talk to a financial aid counselor at your school and if you are in need, or your financial situation changed since last year write them a letter and let them know. I have been there, done that.
