My Edit Preferences area has something called “Use tinyMCE WYSWYG editor”. What the heck is that?
TinyMCE is a “What You See Is What You Get” editor, commonly shortened to “WYSWYG” or “WYSIWYG” (pronounced “whizzy-wig”). A WYSIWYG editor allows you to enter and modify rich-text, or text with formatting. It is easy to use for almost anyone who has ever used software like Microsoft Word or Open Office.
