My dreadlocks keep getting thinner. Whats going on?

First of all, you should know that everyone who has dreadlocks has gone through the shrinking stage. Your dreads are still becoming tight while getting thinner and your dreads will stop shrinking when they are supper dense. It is a good thing but it can make your dreads look goofy, depending on how thin they get. It is not something to worry about, and remember when they get super tight, they will then begin to grow thicker. All the hair you used to loose in the shower and throughout the day, now has nowhere to go but into your dreads. They’ll plump back up a little.
