My door is very difficult to open and close. Do I need to have a new door installed first before installing a SlideRight unit?
Your door must be opening and closing smoothly and evenly for the SlideRight unit to work properly. You do not need a new door unless the glass is chipped or broken or the frame is severely damaged. If it is difficult to open and close, you most likely only need new rollers installed. We offer this service and it is relatively inexpensive compared to the cost of installing new doors.
