my dog it throwing up yellow foamy liquid with grass in it sometimes…what could this be?”
It sounds exactly like what your dog does. It happens maybe once a month, although it has not happened lately. She must be about due 🙂 The yellow color is caused by bile in the stomach (stomach acid). It is from having an empty stomach. I just realized since reading this question that I may know the reason that my dog has gone so long without doing this. I have been playing a game with the dogs in the evening. I close them in a room together and hide small pieces of kibble all around the house. Then I open the door and say “Find it”. They all scatter and find all of the kibble – they never miss any! Last year, Kelsy got sick and then started to get better on her own. When Porter started throwing up, I just assumed it would pass. I waited a couple of days before taking him to the vet, and he lost about seven pounds. It took antibiotics and other drugs to get him healthy. I should have known not to let it go so long. When I got Kelsy as a puppy, I also brought home her sister, Olive, from the animal shelter. The sis
