My dog is not listed, but her parents are in the database. How can I list my dog?
By using the “Register a dog” submission page. I can’t insert my dog. The system says that the parents are “No information…..” Those are valid registrations. Go ahead and register the dog without parental information. But please do update the parent information as soon as you can. I do regularly clean dogs out of the system that have no value in a pedigree sense (no parents and no progeny) To maintain some level of integrity the database needs to be as interlinked as possible. A pedigree that only has 1 or 2 generations and then nothing more, is not very constructive in a Pedigree Database. Besides, many of the tools, such as linebreeding, will not work without at least 5 generations behind your dog. I want a user comment removed I will do that, if requested on the following terms.
